Color the Campus Run/Walk at WHS Set for April 13

Washington High School will hold its Second Annual Color the Campus 3.1K Run/Walk on Friday, April 13, on the WHS campus at 6 p.m.

Proceeds benefit the Al Matzes Memorial Scholarship. Over $1,000 was raised last year.

The start and finish line will be at Washington High School. The course for the timed run and untimed walk will be around the campus of the high school and middle school.

Packet pick up and race day registration takes place from 5:15-5:45 p.m. The run/walk begins at 6 p.m. Wear your best Blue Jay apparel to be eligible for prizes. There will be food and drinks at the finish line for the participants.

Awards and prizes will be given to the top male and female overall finisher, as well as the top three male and females in each age category: 9 and under, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 and older.

Special prizes will be given to most spirited, most colorful and best Blue Jay pride.

The entry fee, if received by March 21, is $10 for children ages 10 and under, $15 for students ages 6-18, and $20 for adults. The fee is $25 if received after March 21. Participants who register before March 21 will receive a T-shirt.
